Spike ducked his head regardless and then looked back as the vampire exploded into dust, frowning slight as it just disappeared into nothing. That was it? That was all this job was? Yes the whole cool badass lone hunter thing was a sexy vibe but that was no excuse for a bloke to shoot an arrow over his head without a heads up! He reached up to check his head in case it had skimmed him, it hadn't but he still didn't like it. He vastly preferred stakes, hand to hand, stuff that wasn't too close to him.
