Angel isn't like other vampires. But he's not gay, no.

He has a soul. Vampires don't. Demons don't. Angel doesn't kill innocents, he's better than most people are.

Trust me. I tried to kill him first time I found out and I'd have done it, if I hadn't noticed how he tried not to kill me.

Isn't Buffy meant to kill them regardless? And instead she's shagging one. Sounds about bloody right. And for the record, Nicki, mate, don't call her my sister again.

It's not something that happens a lot. Took some getting used to, but Angel is the real deal. And he's good to have by your side in a fight.

I won't. But Buffy is meant to protect the innocent and vanquish evil. She's good at it. Very good.

Can you turn from a bite on the shoulder? Because they didn't really go for my neck. Just 'wanted to taste' apparently.

You can't, but some vampires can use if to control you to some degree. Most can't, but it's a risk. I always burn the bites out with holy water just in case.

I don't sleep much, you can text me if you can't sleep. But now you know why we all hang in the library so much.

I'll go nab a bottle from Rupert then, I know where he keeps it. Up until today, I just thought he was weirdly religious.

Thanks for the compliment. Whatever. I'm less into the scholarly side, although my Latin is fluent by now. Most of the time I'm just there so Buffy can kick my arse.

Yeah, I don't fancy getting into the whole heaven and hell bollocks this late but it's a weird thought. Could be true, bit weird.

It's true, mate but yeah, whatever. I don't think I've ever really been in there since Rupert gave me the tour on my first day. He got really intense about his first editions and it was bloody odd. And yeah, I know, she hit me once and it winded me for three days.

Might be true. I have never seen proof of heaven, not really. I've just fought demons from hell and smelled their burned flesh from the cross I wear.

He has great books. If you're into knowing what stuff wants to kill you, shpuldn't be underestimated. Saved your life already. Buffy is stronger than any human and many demons. I only win when I use magic.

Oh yeah. Your style works well against vampires. If you'd worn crosses, they might not even have taken you. But it's not a safe bet, some are better at withstanding the pain than others.

Dawn? Not that I know of. Just a little girl, from the looks of it. Only Buffy was born special. Your uncle's badass though, that might take you by surprise.

Good idea. I sleep with it too. Not that I've invited any vampire into my place ever. Although honestly, they don't want to come in, nobody does, it's terrible.

Ripper? I don't know. But he's not a bad warlock.

Eh, as long as you can sleep somewhere, who cares how it looks? My rooms a pit but who cares? I can move in there.

Huh. And yet he never told me any of this... though this explain why he checked under my bed for monsters whenever he came over until I was fourteen.
